Extended Family
Extended Family Sessions are SO. FUN. I know it can feel like a chore to plan and coordinate with your extended family, but it is so worth it! All you need to do is decide on a date, and I will help with the rest! All clients receive my Session Style Guide and a Style consultation to help coordinate outfits for everyone. I have an incredibly efficient session flow for Extended Families in order to make the session run smoothly. We will get photos of every group you can think of - entire group, grandparents with grandkids, parents with adult children, cousins, siblings, couples, etc. All while laughing and having fun alongside the people you love the most!
What to Expect
Expect to have fun! Sessions are not all "look and smile at the camera!" They're walking, snuggling, laughing, dancing, and connecting. I will tell your family's story while honoring my photography style. This is why I send you a questionnaire, to get to know you before your session even begins. This will help me know how to best document your particular family best. Prepare to interact, play, snuggle, and not look at the camera much. We of course will get one or two "Christmas Card Photos." But the real magic happens in the in-between moments. I still give direction to help the session run smoothly so no one is left wondering "What am I supposed to do?"
